We had a little alley drama last week when a pipe burst and they had to turn off the water and dig up the alley. That was practice for the city’s Alley Rehabilitation Project, which will be featuring OUR block being completely rehabbed from July 8 to August 5 (more or less).

You will be able to park in the parking garage, but you won’t be able to come in the back door. The apron around Milton’s will also be torn up, so you will have to walk out the New Hampshire Street side and around on either 9th or 10th Street.

Parking on Massachusetts is free before 10 and after 5 Mon-Sat, and on Sundays. You can also park free in the lot on Vermont Street and walk through the Massachusetts Street stores.

On the plus side, our front stairs are not as steep as the back stairs!
